CHOOSING PRODUCTS

Sometimes you’ll see the same type of item from more than one supplier (like eggs, beef, baked goods, etc.). Items are grouped by category with suppliers and pricing so you can choose what works best for you.

Prices will vary between suppliers and will usually be higher than grocery store prices. That’s just the reality of working directly with small farms and families. You’re paying for quality, care, and real people behind it all.

I do encourage spreading your order across as any suppliers as possible. I’ll be pick up from them all anyway, and it’s a really simple way to support more than one family at a time!

Farm to Table Fee

Now I want to be really clear about the farm-to-table fee, because I don’t want confusion around it.

The fee is $20 at this time. The picking up and dropping off groceries is part of it, but honestly, that’s not even the biggest part of the work.

This is where most of the work is happening — coordinating with suppliers, checking availability, reviewing their available products, organizing and formatting the weekly list, updating items and prices, planning routes, preparing orders, sending the list out to customers, confirming everything with suppliers, organizing payments and order details, and coordinating pickups and deliveries, along with so many other moving parts

So, the fee is covering all of that coordination and time, not just the physical delivery.

Also, I am passing the supplier retail prices directly to you. I am not marking anything up on products. That means this fee is the only part that is supporting my time and the work it takes to make this run.

Even if someone chooses a pickup option instead of delivery, the fee still stays the same, because most of the work is happening long before anything ever gets delivered.

I really hope that makes sense and doesn’t turn anyone away. I just want to be transparent so nobody feels confused later.

Tip Line/Credit Card Fees

At checkout, there is also an optional tip line. This helps cover the credit card processing fee.

Our Very Own Nutrition Coach

I’m really excited about this—and I hope you are too! What started this all was I was spending hours looking into meal kits like Hello Fresh, comparing prices, quality, and nutrition. I didn’t necessarily love the idea of buying them, but I have to admit… the convenience was hard to ignore!

At one point, I was spending close to $200 a week on groceries, and I kept coming back to the same thought—I’d much rather put that money toward local food. Food I trust. Food that’s actually produced with care. And most importantly, food that supports the local farms and families working hard to provide better options for all of us.

What I did love about the meal kits, though, was how simple they made things. You just picked the meals you wanted and didn’t have to think twice about it. And honestly, after planning meals sometimes three times a day for over 20 years… I’m over it. 😂

So, with that in mind, I thought it would be fun to bring someone alongside us. This is a friend whose journey I’ve watched over the past several years as she worked to figure out why, even while doing “all the right things,” she still wasn’t feeling her best.

She’s agreed to help us by putting together weekly recipes using the products we have available—meals that are nutritious, practical, and things the whole family (including kids) will actually enjoy.

So, let’s meet Jennifer!

Hi, I’m Jennifer — a certified nutrition coach who’s studied gut and hormone health, as well as a personal trainer with a focus on sleep and stress recovery. I’m passionate about using whole foods to nourish the body in a way that’s still simple and realistic for everyday life. I focus on balanced, high-protein meals and building habits that actually stick—without overcomplicating it. Each week, I’ll be sharing recipe ideas based on what’s available, along with simple ways to turn those ingredients into meals that help you feel full, fueled, and at your best!
