First, I just want to say thank you!

Some of you may have noticed this all started fairly recently and a bit unexpectedly about a month ago.

It honestly began with something pretty simple—I just wanted to be more intentional about knowing where my families food was coming from. That, combined with wanting to shop local, is what led me here.

Since posting in the Lake Country 411 Facebook group about supporting local farms and families, a bigger idea started to develop. I honestly wasn’t sure if it was a little crazy or if anyone would even be interested 😅 but I’ve been truly blown away by the response.

Because of that, I’d love to introduce a new idea - Farm to Porch delivery service!

HOW IT WORKS

Monday (before delivery week)
We check in with our local suppliers and gather their available products.

Tuesday
The weekly shopping list is emailed to customers.

Thursday at 9:00 PM
Ordering closes for the week.

Wednesday (the following week)
Your order is delivered right to your door.

As we grow, deliveries may occasionally extend into Thursday if order volume requires it.

COOLER BAG EXCHANGE PROGRAM

Keeping your food at a safe temperature from the time it's packed until it reaches your doorstep is a top priority.

To help with that, all customers participate in our reusable cooler bag exchange program. There is a one-time $15 cooler deposit for all customers.

Beginning with your first delivery, your order will arrive in a clean insulated cooler bag. At your next delivery, simply leave the empty bag out and we'll swap it for a fresh one with your new order. (You can also leave out any empty egg cartons, canvas bags, or jars from previous deliveries.)

We highly suggest leaving an additional cooler on your porch with ice packs and we'll place the insulated bag inside.


DELIVERY ONLY

For the first several weeks, we’ll be doing 

delivery only—no pickup option yet.

This gives us a chance to get everything running smoothly and work through order flow, delivery routes, timing, and volume. Future pick-up spots include Oconomowoc, Hartland and Pewaukee.

The weekly shopping list is sent to your email on Tuesdays. There are primary suppliers that provide the staple items like meat, eggs, bread, etc. Due to the number of local suppliers and seasonal products, the available items change regularly. I encourage you to review each list to see what is new!

When will I receive my order?

Orders are delivered the following Wednesday. If order volume requires an additional delivery day, some orders may be delivered on Thursday. If your delivery is affected, you will be notified in advance.


What areas do you currently serve?

We currently deliver throughout much of Jefferson and Waukesha Counties in Wisconsin. You can view our current delivery areas here.

How do you ensure product freshness?

Products are picked up directly from our suppliers on delivery day and are never stored overnight. Perishable items remain temperature-controlled from pickup through delivery using our cooler bag exchange system.


Is there a minimum order amount?

Yes. There is a $50 minimum order requirement. This helps make weekly deliveries and supplier pickups sustainable.


How do I place an order?

Join our email list to receive the weekly shopping list and ordering link each Tuesday. Orders close Thursday at 9:00 PM.


What if I'm not home when my order is delivered?

Orders can be left at your designated delivery location. For additional protection from the weather, customers are encouraged to leave a cooler on their porch and we will place the insulated bag inside.


Can I order occasionally or do I have to order every week?

There is no subscription required. Order whenever you'd like!
